This is the recorded posts on the old forum! The format is:

I may eventually make a forum specifically for this and split it up, but for now I am unable to do that. <_<

Good Day,

Topic: Dungeon Valley

Comments: Seeing as we are only allowed 5 forums, I decided to just put a Dungeon Valley topic up, so to start it off I will post Part 1 of the preliminary 3-part script I'm writing for the Dungeon Valley Movie!
(Keep in mind I just wrote this down as notes, it will be fleshed out much more, I hope to make this something like 20-30 minutes of video, maybe just 15.)

Adventurer comes into valley followed by avalanche, he looks scraggy, long, dirty, messy, clumped hair, looks as if he has not had a proper cleaning in at least a month. He makes his way into town, he finds that the town is sort of in lockdown, small story about the sudden arrival of small mutant rabbits dubbed "Weebits" and the increase in violence from the woodland animals, in town the Adventurer seeks out the local tavern to deem knowledge of where he can stay, talks to the grizzled old soldier in tavern, learns about practice yard, goes to the town inn, gets cleaned up, cuts hair, looks much better, looks out window, sees everyone gathering in the town hall, he decides to investigate, he goes into the town hall and finds out they are meeting to determine what to do about the recent attacks on village people, he decides to explore the town hall and finds a small library filled with books, some with strange writing he's never seen before, he picks up a book and opens it to read when someone enters and startles him, they talk about this new menace to the town, and he asks about the strange writing, she tells him about the other three races that live in the valley, The Fenihoku, The Oshnak, and The Zutobu, The Oshnak and Zutobu mostly keeps to themselves, but the Fenihoku are rather social, despite this little is known about these other races and no one can read their writing, suddenly the town meeting ends and the other person leaves in a hurry, the Adventurer decides to explore the town now, eventually he ends up at the old lady's house, when he opens the door the old lady is rocking in chair with her eyes open seemingly staring at the Adventurer even though she is clearly asleep and is snoring quite loudly, her eyes seem to follow him as he moves around the room, all of the sudden he spots a jar of cookies, the urge the steal one of the cookies and run away as fast as he can suddenly surges up inside of him, slightly bewildered be suppresses this urge but not without making a little noise, the Adventurer is startled as the Old Woman speaks. "Very good," she says, "you're the one I've been looking for." She then explains that the cookies are magic, on sight they create such a strong desire for one it can drive some men mad, but only one would be able to resist taking one, and he is that one. She goes on to explain the magical qualities of the cookies, if stolen they bring bad fortune and suffering, if given then the receiver gains wisdom and the gift of tongues, if eaten the effect the health either good or bad depending on whether they were stolen, she then hands him three cookies and a book, she explains that this book has much information he will need to complete his quest, and begs him to go quickly. [End of Part 1]

That is all for a while, I hope you like what I've come up with! This will probably changed in the extreme by Zac and the final script will be quite a bit different.

E-mail: chad@neejean.org

This has absolutely no purpose anymore as pretty much this whole script got scrapped, we may eventually make a Dungeon Valley Movie though!

This is the first comment by our so far silent forum member, WiiMoat (bad pun, Abyll thinks he should be punished for such a bad pun).

Aw... I thought it was a pretty good pun... and besides, it started out as being CastleWiisMoat (Castle Wii's Moat) But that didn't work out so well, so I just shortened it to WiiMoat. Do a Google search for WiiMoat, you can see the other sites I'm on. P.S. I remain silent simply because I have nothing to say.

Aßyll - September 17, 2008 07:10 PM (GMT)
Oh, if it was Castle Wii's Moat, that would be way more awesome. (You oughta change it back!)
But no, WiiMoat I still say is a not good pun (Its like almost detrimental to the original awesome WiiMote). And hmm, your a professional forum-goer? I can presume such from your sig pic right? (Which is fairly nice, I gotta be a fan of those green guys, though blue is my thing)

So uh, where are you from? Are you from our school? And guess what, :Laugh Out Loud: around here you really ought to (as in have to) go and say something; I do, so you should too.
Even if it is less random than "bacon", we won't criticize seriously or harmfully. (But come on, bacon is better than awesome!)

Aßyll - September 17, 2008 07:16 PM (GMT)
Oh, and by the way: That won't work too well when (not 'if', so you know) you join DV, you will need to make up a real name, though "Castle Wii's Moat" would be excellent for a Title. But you'll need a real name in there. (Real, I mean, as in its a name, not some thing or whatever. Fantasy names are awesome, and fantasy name generators generate awesome).

Abyll, this is Justin Madsen, he goes to my school and we usually sit in the hall outside the library together during lunch. I don't go in the library because they said that I'm not even allowed to play games on my laptop! Well, the funny thing is that he thinks the opposite of you, he thinks that Castle Wii's Moat is too long, and is a bad pun, but he thinks WiiMoat is better. Also I would just like to say that saying WiiMote is okay by me, I don't like it much but it is okay, but if you are typing PLEASE always use Wii Remote because that is the correct term for it, if you can't type a space and two extra letters then you are a sad person.

He got that picture of the castle off of Zelda: Twilight Princess, when that knight shows up to teach you new moves it is in the background.

Well, I'm going to go add the rest of the emoticons now.

And I think that he already has a Dungeon Valley account, I think he was one of the two or three people that joined last year, although I am not certain of this.

Ah, always excellent to get random spam that makes absolutely no sense, it is better than the kind that has countless links to inappropriate things. (A word of caution, I don't know where any of the links lead, follow them at your own risk.) This may have actually been an attempt at something like that, but my email plus this forum have garbled it beyond repair! Have fun attempting to decipher!

Topic: Game Ratings

Comments: Is there some way that you can make a rating system for the games. I mean i get on and i have no idea what i want to play. Maybe you could just put a star or something on the games that you approve of and think they are fun to play.

Thanks
Jake
